WISHH Christmas Update 2023!
Welcome to our festive events newsletter! We’d like to share some of the ways you can get involved to help us spread some magic and joy to wards across Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital this Christmas. Read about our National Elf Service, Christmas WISHHes, Santa Run and more!
We’re inviting everybody to help us spread the festive cheer across Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital this Christmas, by joining the WISHH National Elf Service! Funds raised from the appeal will enable us to buy gifts for children cared for in specialist areas across the hospitals and provide gifts for older patients, and those with dementia. Now’s the time to start your festive fundraiser – from bake sales and Christmas karaoke, to festive wear and crafting, there are plenty of ways to join in the festivities! We have also launched our Christmas WISHHes, where, for a donation of £5, one of our WISHH Stars can be personalised with a message and displayed on trees at Hull Royal Infirmary or Castle Hill Hospital, at home or in the workplace! Please get in contact if you would like to purchase a star or discuss how your workplace or organisation can get involved and support our appeal with company-wide Christmas WISHHes!
This year, we’re delighted to have joined forces with the fantastic Rotary Clubs of Holderness and Humberside to bring you the Hull Santa Run! This festive fundraising event, organised by the two Rotary Clubs, will see you running, prancing, dancing, walking or dashing your way around Pickering Park in your free Santa outfit! This year we have introduced our WISHH Festive Greetings poster! The poster is a great way to print, write and display festive messages to your friends, colleagues and team instead of writing individual cards! With each participant making a donation, it’s a fantastic way to fundraise! As well as this, we have a full pack of printable extras to bring your Christmas fundraising to life – bunting, signs, coasters and more! Email us for your pack!
