Hull Run for All 2020

#TeamWISHH take on a 10k and Half Marathon

Date: 16th August 2020

Time: 9:00am

We've put together an incredible team of runners including staff from across both Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital, members of the public and Home Bargains team members to take part in the 10k or Half Marathon as part of #TeamWISHH! We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of our team.

All the funds raised by our runners will help us to create a sensory room at Hull's Eye Hospital for children with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, ADD, anxiety and children who have experience trauma.

Each year, the hospital cares for 15,000 children. Hospital visits can be stressful for anyone but adding sensory issues to that can be unbearable for some children. Your donations will allow us to create a safe and calming space for children where they can get away from the hustle and bustle of the hospital that may be too much for them. Sensory rooms use colourful lights, soothing music, low lighting and specially designed equipment and toys that are perfect for children to be able to feel more at ease which makes appointments far easier for them. Any funds raised over our target will enable us to make enhancements to sensory facilities at the Eye Hospital.

The Hull Run for All is now in its 11th year and showcases the very best that Hull has to offer such as The Deep, Humber Dock Marina and Queens Gardens. It has become one of the region's most popular runs.  For more information about Run for All, you can visit www.runforall.com
